Why i'm getting stuck during sleep/dream?

Been having many vivid dreams lately, today just totally freaked me out! Had a dream of seeing in a computer during the dream some people evolving to scarier and rougher forms into strange animas like giant insects and monsters ‘’like those type of human evolution from ape type’’ suddenly I got stuck consciously while awake and couldn’t move anything, I tried the best I can to wake up, but I failed to do so, and yet I didn’t go into another dream, instead I felt my energy being sucked and saw a vision in my closet of something moving, (cause my eyes where open a little) and I heard an electric sound to during that time, anyone can tell me why I’m having these nightmares please? I need help!!! And YES I believe I’m being attacked by evil spirits
