Anyone angry at the oscars?

I find the oscar's a total waste of time & space. Every time they advertise the oscar's, I never know who any of these people are or what their claim to fame is. Gran-Torino was a good movie, but Clint is putting his clic movie persona to rest, just like John Wayne did in the movie the Shootist.
