Few people and including myself think....?

I should be l less selfish...is this even possible to be less selfish. You give up on thing to gain another wheter you use it for good or bad....So how can not be selfish?!?? and after you arrived from that long trip you took in your mind, do you ever see that ugly place within yourself that you want to change but don't know how to? and when you think you grasped the concept of how to fix your problem, you realize how can I be, and do better, wouldn't that make me a liar to even attempt to change the ugly things about myself? How can we change the intangible? Is it a law that goes against that? Why would we want to tell a worldly lie when everything done in the dark comes to the light eventually. and I wonder...why do certain people commit the sins that they commit? I mean like in a more in depth type of view....and then when certain Individuals conscience wakes up...They try to cover their shame. I know cause I went through that already, I just want to know what made me feel like I had to hide it? Do you choose your own morals to live by because your generation from your past believed in the same morals, or do you create your own because of your experience that you have with life? How and Why are you suppose to forgive someone that acts against your morals when you are suppose to reprove and/or "rebuke" them far, far away from your life.How is that true forgiveness? and if great minds think alike why is the world in the situation it's in, mentally.....
