I just installed Xubuntu 7.10 on my apple G3. It installed perfectly, but when it boots up, nothing happens.?

As the Xubuntu loading screen appears, a small sliver progress appears, then the whole system just seems to freeze. After a couple of minutes, the screen goes black, and something called "BusyBox v1.1.3" follows. What am I doing wrong?
