Christians/whoever: If God always existed, what was he doing before he started creating stuff.?

so God has been around for all eternity and only took 7 days to create the universe and everything. Couldn't one say that god is pretty lazy in that he didn't get much else done for anything other than 7 days. I mean forever is quite a long amount of time to sit around doing nothing isn't it. Wouldn't you think that mr Omnipotent-pants would find other stuff to do before creating the universe. Have there been other worldly universes that he created and destroyed before ours. Maybe he evolved/altered his creation process in an attempt to create a better universe and we are just the current step..... did you see that, i suggested that god used evolution to create the present universe. God seems like a smart guy, and smart people like to learn from their mistakes and evolve their practices, so why can't you give god the credit of being able to make mistakes.......did you see what i did there, I mentioned God and Evolution in the same sentence and even suggested that they coexist. am i a blasphemer now?... not that I wasnt one before.. but you get the point. God likes evolution and evolution likes god.
