Are 3 dogs too many?

Currently, I have a er spaniel who is 3 years of age and a minature dachshund who is a little over 1 year old. The 2 of them get along wonderfully. The breeder I got my mini dacshund from has another litter from the same parents. I just adore my dachshund and these puppies are her full brothers and sisters. I don't think the breeder will be breeding mom again. What should I do? She has 3 black and tan puppies...should I buy another one? I currently work fulltime, but have 2 children. One is 13 and comes home around 3:00. The other child is 8. Both of my children adore the dogs we have.
