Would you say I am in love?

Okay so I really like this guy named Brian.. Well a week ago I started datin this guy named Michael at my school and we dated for about 6 days because I broke up with him becaue everytime we hugged or he kissed me the first thing that popped into my mind was Brian.. I felt that if I was with Michael I would never have a chance with Brian and like i said everytime he kissed me Brian came to mind.. he told me he loved me all the time and I tried to say it back but Brian came to mind so when I said it I didnt sound very happy.. so thats why I left him.. would you call this being in love if not what would you call it and why would you say I feel this way?
