Will my mom really do this? and should i try get it back when shes not around?

ok im 14 and for a while i have i guess been acting up, just cos i wanted to get my own way and stuff, and i wouldn't tidy my room when my mom asked me to ETC, she threatened to throw away one of one soft toys i have on my bedroom floor if i didn't behave and tidy the room by the end of the week, i kinda told her yea whatever! and then its the end of the week and she says she's serious that the toy will be going in the trash to punish me! i said to her that well out of order but she says i knew the rules and choose to ignore them, can she really throw away my toys like that? also she has put it in the garage at the moment as she said she's waiting for garbage day (which is in a few days!) and then shes gonna bag it up and put it out to the curb with the rest of the trash! should i try to got get it out with out her knowing or leave it there and let her do it?! i know shes not bluffing she really is gonna throw it away! but will she really put it out with the garbage?!
