Not being accepted because im light skinned?

Ok im light skinned black American but darker skinned people don't accept me at all.They think I act white or spanish because of how I talk.I don't get why it has to be such a bother to be able to speak correct english instead of slang.I'm very proper,neat and I do play guitar.My music interest are alternative,heavy metal,scream and, Christan rock/. My childhood friends accept me and they are mainly white and spanish.I just don't understand why darker skinned people can't accept the way I am?
