Has anyone really looked into Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson's comments in the past?
I found Don Imus's comments offensive, but I think the punishment is significant. Why is it that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are always at the center of things when there are comments made? I remember when Jackson called Jews at one point in his life a bunch of Hymies and New York City was referred by him as Hymietown, he later apologized and all was forgiven. What about Sharpton, I remember when he raked several police officers and a ADA over the coals and accused them of horrible crimes to a 15 year old girl, this case was later determined to be a hoax and Sharpton has never apologized. Also, comments he made during another incident in NYC involving a Jewish man hitting a black child and his cousin incited riots. Al Sharpton was right in the middle of this, encouraging blacks to attack Jewish people. He made several racial comments about Jewish people. Why is it ok for these two men to say what ever they want and are called activisted, while others are called racist?
